Full truck load is the Polish translation of the English phrase Full Truck Load (FTL). A characteristic feature of this type of goods transport is the fact that the client pays for the entire cargo area of ​​the vehicle, and not only the space actually used to transport the load, as is the case with the consolidation of goods in groupage transport.

What are the advantages of full truck load inland transport?

In full truck load transport, the entire load comes from one customer and is delivered to a specific location indicated by them. The cargo area is not divided between several suppliers, and the transport itself takes place from the sender to the recipient. The goods are loaded at the sender’s premises and unloaded directly at the recipient’s, which minimizes the need for reloading during the execution of the order. One of the most popular methods of filling a vehicle in full truckload transport is palletization, but boxes and cardboard packaging are also often used for this purpose. FTL transport significantly simplifies the logistics of the entire transport process and affects the efficiency of delivering the load to the specified address.
